Meet the Team
Hi, I’m Tricia — the owner of The Brain Bridge and a licensed speech-language pathologist. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from infancy through older adulthood. My passion lies in helping people of all ages achieve their communication goals and eat and drink safely. However, my specialties include feeding and swallowing across the lifespan, as well as articulation and motor speech disorders. I am dedicated to supporting a wide range of needs—from speech and language delays to swallowing difficulties—and I approach every challenge with genuine enthusiasm and a deep commitment to this field.
I completed my bachelor’s degree in Health Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by a Master of Science degree from Rush University Medical Center. I also hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). My goal is to provide high-quality services to individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of location or financial situation. One of the key reasons I started The Brain Bridge was to offer therapy that meets the needs of families while considering their financial circumstances.
With this foundation, I’ve become especially passionate about uncovering the root causes of each client’s challenges and addressing them through engaging, individualized therapy. My approach is grounded in a strong understanding of physical and neurological development, including conditions that may impact speech, language, and swallowing—particularly in older adults. I believe in a whole-body, person-centered approach that supports meaningful progress and lasting outcomes.
